Multiple ingredient limits

Scale a recipe to the ingredients you have

Enter several recipe requirements and what is actually in your kitchen. FOOGG finds the ingredient that runs out first and scales the whole recipe to fit it.

Units
Match units within each row.For example, compare 500 g required with 327 g available. Another row may use ml or cups because FOOGG compares each row's ratio independently.

How FOOGG chooses the limiting ingredient

For each complete row, FOOGG divides the amount you have by the amount the recipe needs. The smallest ratio is the ingredient that limits the batch. That ratio becomes the scale factor for the whole ingredient list.

Why this can reduce waste

Instead of guessing how far to shrink a recipe, you can use your actual pantry limits. This is particularly useful when one ingredient is expensive, perishable or hard to substitute.

If the goal is specifically to use a whole retail pack, use the Package-Size Recipe Scaler.
