Accessibility at FOOGG

The calculators are designed to remain usable with a keyboard, readable at narrow widths, and understandable without relying on color alone.

Current accessibility features

  • Semantic labels for calculator fields and buttons.
  • A skip link to bypass navigation.
  • Keyboard-accessible controls and native form elements.
  • Live regions for calculator results and input errors.
  • Responsive layouts that collapse to one column on small screens.
  • Reduced-motion support when the operating system requests it.

Known limitations

FOOGG is a small utility and has not claimed formal third-party WCAG certification. If a browser, assistive technology or unusual zoom level exposes a usability problem, the site should be treated as needing a fix rather than assuming the user's setup is at fault.
